ALL-MICRO Approaches Project Closure

The ALL-MICRO partnership is entering the final phase of the project, with partners working on the penultimate reporting period covering activities from September 2025 to February 2026. The final project report will be submitted at the end of September 2026. During the July consortium meeting, partners reviewed the remaining reporting requirements, including updates on pilot projects, Open Days, dissemination activities and monthly meetings.

Pilot Projects: Final Deadline

Partners were reminded that all pilot project reports must be uploaded to the shared repository by 19 August 2026. These reports will contribute to Deliverable D.2.5.1, which will summarise the results achieved through the pilot projects. Updated versions of Deliverables 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 prepared by the technology park partners will also be incorporated into the final project documentation.

Building a Sustainable Network

The consortium discussed the key documents and project results that remain to be completed before project closure, including Output 1.1 (Integrated Cross-Border Microscopy System) and Output 3.1 (Specialised Training System for Optical and Electron Microscopy).

To ensure long-term sustainability, partners agreed that the forthcoming Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will provide evidence of continued cross-border cooperation beyond the project lifetime. In parallel, the Board of Experts is preparing a commitment to continue meeting on a regular basis after project completion to discuss microscopy services, user needs, equipment upgrades and future investments, thereby ensuring the continued development of the ALL-MICRO network.

Looking Ahead

A Board of Experts meeting is planned before 7 August 2026, followed by a Management Board meeting in early September. These meetings will focus on final project activities and on establishing mechanisms for continued collaboration after the project concludes.
